| The new Millennium Gate is in close proximity to the principal cultural district of the city of Atlanta. Beginning at the Woodruff Arts Center at 15th street looking north, the Prince of Wales’s Olympics Monument can be seen on an axial alignment with the Peachtree Christian Church tower built approximately 100 years earlier. One block before the Olympics Monument at 17th Street, you take a left turn crossing over the new 17th Street bridge and are facing the Millennium Gate at the terminating visual axis of the new 17th Street boulevard. |
